Return the maximum allowable contribution to a Medical Flexible Spending Account to the previous $5000 per year.

Created by S.H. on February 28, 2013

Prior to 2013, the maximum contribution to a Medical Flexible Spending Account was $5,000 per year. In 2013 that maximum was reduced by 50% to $2,500 per year. Medical costs have NOT gone down, but the amount able to be set aside has. This ads an additional burden to the growing number of burdens faced by tax payers.
