In light of the apparent dereliction of duty of four commercial airline pilots on September 11, 2001, we the people demand the presence of at least one armed air marshal on every single commercial air line flight in this country, whether or not it is destined for stops in this land or abroad and, regardless of where the flight originates if it is destined for this land. The taxpaying people of this land have sacrificed their liberty to privacy, in lieu of security, long enough.
Certainly the presence, and knowledge of the presence, of an air marshal, shall curb the courage of wrong-doers who potentially face the gun. A well placed bullet to the chest of a terrorist should decide the fate of the many far more effectively than the unpredictable actions of a criminal.
