Return military retirement pay to retirees receiving VA disability retirement. Allow concurrent payment.

Created by T.C. on November 19, 2012

Currently military retirees have their military retired pay taken from them by the department of Veteran Affairs. The VA then pays out according to your disabilty rating with the VA. A retiree at 100% disability would receive a set amount from the VA regardless of the amount that the military retirement was. Military retirees should be able to draw full retirement from the military and the VA at the same time. Any other form of government retirement is not penalized in this manner, only retired military. Many retirees view this as theft.
