Return our democracy to the people. In Federal Elections have two binding ballot questions for voters to decide on.

Created by R.C. on March 07, 2014

Current political gridlock and huge big money interests are preventing progress on improving our
country.
Preceding Term and Midterm elections, choose two questions which achieve the highest number of
petition signatures on petitions.whitehouse.gov.
No question receiving less than 10 percent of the population of the USA would be placed on the ballot.
So if 32 million people think an idea deserves a vote, give the citizens a vote.
Example given: the vast majority of Americans think background checks for gun sales should be
expanded. The petition could read: “Expand gun sales background checks. If passed by 60% of the
American public, Congress and the President must pass laws to expand criminal and mental health
background checks to all gun sales between non-family members.”
