Return the people's signatory requirement for "We the People" to the original threshold of 25,000 signatures

In order to save even a semblance of the appearance of an open forum for the people, the requirement for petitions, with regard to “We the People” responses by the Whitehouse, must return to the 25k signatory threshold. In a time when form responses are the norm for senior government offices, these petitions allow a segment of the population to come together in obtaining comments on particular subjects that would normally fall victim to a standard form letter. It is understood some subjects of petitions may be distasteful to others due to oppositional ideas, but so long as they are put forth in a respectful manner, they deserve the prompt and proper attention. Do not take this avenue away from the people by increasing the signatory threshold beyond the reach of the common man and woman.
