Every year the Postal service pays for retirees that havent even been hired yet. No other government agency or buisness is required to do this. Some estimates place the amounts for overpayments in excess of 20 billion dollars. This money is then used to help make the deficit look smaller. While there are many things the Postal service needs to adjust too, this shoud be the first step to make sure we all have mail delivery to our homes for years to come.
