Much of the debt that our country has incurred is in the form of interest. This interest is being charged by the Federal Reserve, which is not a Federal entity or agency and is owned, in part, by foreign investors. As a country, we have been paying interest on our money supply since the Federal Reserve was created in 1913. This petition demands that the White House urge congress to craft legislation to return the power to print our money back to the Treasury, therebye ensuring that no interest will be applied to our money supply ever again. In order to secure a more prosperous future for our chidren, we the people demand that the Treasury be given the power to excersize its Constitutional authority to print this country's money, interest free.
