Return previous monthly rate of $245.00 government subsidy to Transportation Incentive Program (TIP) riders (Fed and Mil

Created by D.M. on January 31, 2014

Recently, as of October 2013, the previous government subsidy for U.S Federal Enployee and US Military using Transportation Incentive Program (TIP) long sponsored by the DOT and Dept of Defense has been lowered from the usual $245.00 to $139.00 per month. With this cut, we, registered riders are struggling to pay larger portion out of pocket, that some have no choice but to disenrolled. The idea and whole concept here is to promote clean air environment also not to add traffic congestions on roads when Federal workers and U.S Military commutes to their work site from home and vice versa. A 6 or 7 passenger sharing a ride to and from work is really a big help, not only to the clean air enronmnet but also to the riders. Again, this program has been so great until the subsidy was lowered.
