This petition is to request that not only the Obama administration but the Federal Government as a whole should relinquish some of the powers that were originally state powers but have over time gone to the Federal Government for regulation.
Primarily:
- Same Sex Marriage
- Abortion
- Legalizing Pot
- Gun Control and Gun Safety
- Healthcare
- Social Security
and many other major and non major issues.
This would also bring back the original powers given to the Federal Government which had been intended by our founding fathers from the start.
Primarily:
- Power to Tax
- Power to Spend
- Property Clause Power
- Copyright Power
This would also include bringing the Senate back to it's original intention. Having the voice of a state within the Halls of Congress to help regulate Federal affairs
