Dao Yu islands was captured by Japanese from China during the 2nd World War. After the war it was administered by US. But in the 70's, US transfer the administration to Japan.
The island's sovereignty has always been in the air. For the benefit of peace for the world and US ourselves, it is time for the our congress to do the right thing to confirm the sovereignty of the islands back to Taiwan province of China.
