Return the state of Texas to its rightful owners: the United Mexican States.

Given the repeated and flagrant abuse of US traditions, customs, and laws by Texas, and given the historical jurisdiction which the Mexican state has had over this region, this proposal seeks to return the state of Texas to its rightful owners. It has become obvious that Texas can no longer be trusted to be a good-faith member of the United States and therefore should be removed wholly from it. Furthermore, this will make way for the state of Puerto Rico, which has recently voted for statehood. Lastly, given the economic strength of Texas, this should be a boon to the Mexican economy. In summation, this will heal historical wounds between the US and Mexico, remove a political thorn from our sides, and aid Mexico's economy. And we don't even have to change the flag.
