Return the U.S. dollar to the gold standard, whereby the United States Treasury must maintain a reserve of gold to the outstanding money supply and allow individuals to exchange U.S. currency for gold and silver.
Throughout the history of the U.S. dollar, price stability reigned until the dollar was allowed to "float". To bring back this price stability for the American people, link the dollar to a specific value of gold and adjusting the ratio over time for population growth and standard of living increases.
