Child support no longer works for the huge variety of situations that arise in current day society. Instance one: A mother has full custody of her kids and works full time. The father works the least he can to still make his ends meet. He manages to get his child support lessened just because he has cut back on his working hours. The issue? The mother has to pay court fees for every instance and is getting less money than she need just because the father wants to spite her. Instance two: A father has 50/50 custody of his kids. He works a decent job, the mother has training for a good job yet chooses to work part time and get welfare. He is close to loosing his house due to the excessive child support the mother receives even with 50/50 custody. This are just two of many issues existing.
