revamp employment-based immigration system and eliminate per-country permanent visa quota limit restrictions.

Created by A.S. on November 13, 2011

This petition represent views on current employment-based visa and immigration system. The current system places restriction on per-country visa allotment for permanent residency in the United States. This restriction really does not work very well not only for the benefit of immigrants but also for the country in itself. It is a known reality that the highest subscribers or applicants in the employment based immigration system category are from countries like India, China and philippines. On yearly basis, 140,000 employment based immigrant visas are allocated for all countries (with per country limit of 7% of 140,000 maximum=9,800). Due to restrictions like this, applicants from certain countries wait time for US Residency ranges from 10 to 25 years, which is unfair and unreasonable.
