Revamp the failing education system to better prepare students for college and for the innovated job world.

Created by J.L. on December 24, 2012

The failing education system and governance of said education system needs to be revamped to force students to succeed in today's world. Harvard and other credible sources have founds that American students ranked 25th in math, 17th in science and 14th in reading.
The white house should urge politicians to push legislation for an education curriculum that meets higher standards such as completion of higher level math, science and reading classes during K-12. Said curriculum should also include classes for modern needs; IE banking and financing, fluency in foreign languages, critical thinking (Mental math skills, etc) and job skills. The education system should also better prepare k-12 students for entry into college to diminish drop out rates, and ensure success.
