The public education system in America is failing left and right. If we as a society wish to see prosperity as the younger generations begin to take on leadership responsibilities in the community - it is imperitive that we stop dropping the ball.
What our educational system needs is to raise the standard and we need our teachers to think outside the box in order to assist ALL students in reaching the established standard... No more should we push students on to the next level without fully preparing them for the coursework to come; it prevents the student from reaching their full potential. Educators should be more concerned with their student's future success than "passing the buck".
