Corporations are performing mass-layoffs of Americans and permanent residents and bringing thousands of technology workers from third-world countries into the United States to take their jobs.
These workers have no special skills that American citizens and permanent residents lack; they are simply lower-paid.
Most work visas are intended to cover skillsets that are difficult to locate within America, but the US government blindly approves thousands of work visas for information technology workers, especially from India and China, whose sole quality is their low pay rate. Most of these workers return to their home countries within a few years and take the dollars with them.
