A request for Freddie Mac to revoke the 2010 change in refinancing eligibility requirements for Single Family manufactured homes that have been moved more than once. In Volume 1, chapter H33.3, Ineligible Mortgages, it states that "A Mortgage securing a Manufactured Home that was moved from its original site (ie. park) and was previously occupied or installed on a permanent foundation" is ineligible for any financing, or refinancing.
Purchasers of land and a manufactured home have now been denied any kind of conventional financing, since Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae buy 90% of the loans. Their investment has become worthless, because there is no resale value without the option of the conventional financing that they used to purchase the home and property in the first place.
