reverse all "recess appointments" made since January 1st 2012.

Created by D.F. on January 05, 2012

Reverse your “Recess Appointments” made after the New Year to allow Congress to properly confirm your appointees. Section 2 of Article 2 of the Constitution states you can only make a recess appointment when that vacancy occurred during the recess of the Senate. The appointments made since January 1st 2012 were all to positions made vacant before the supposed recess that you appointed them in and are illegitimate. For reference I point to Section 3 of Article 1, which explains how states are supposed to fill Senatorial vacancies in the event that such a vacancy occurred during the recess of that states legislature. This is for precedential purposes to add context to Article II, Section 2’s use of “vacancies that may happen during the recess of the Senate."
