Reverse the approval of two new Nuclear Reactors

Created by V.R. on February 09, 2012

The US Regulatory Commission approved licenses to build two new nuclear reactors.

Expense of nuclear installations & storing the resulting waste are cost prohibitive so taxpayers are forced to offer the loans to the Fortune 500 companies to build them. If they were truly cost effective financial institutions would make those loans.

The human health expense is immeasurable. For generations, humans and their environment will pay the price with a decrease in health and quality of life.

"Wind Energy employs more people than coal mining. Solar Energy, twice as many as coal mining. This year renewables surpassed nuclear BTUs to the US. Last year more facilities and resources for renewable energy were built than all the other energy production options combined. Robert Kennedy "Ring of Fire"
