Reverse debilitating budget cuts to NASA which promise to force abandonment of many of its most important projects.

Created by S.H. on December 03, 2011

Despite the Obama administration's promises to promote innovation, it has ruthlessly cut away at the budget for NASA within the last four years, to the point where the agency is now nearly incapable of functioning. The agency now lacks the funds to complete the James Webb telescope that is meant to replace the failing Hubble, and the Kepler Observatory is going to be forced to shut off mid mission. It has even been reported that the agency is being forced to cancel the entire planetary exploration program. With this off of the table, NASA currently lacks any planned future missions.

NASA is by far the most important long-term program to humanity's future. But it is falling apart at the seams from starvation. Government spending has been increasing massively, yet NASA is being shut down.
