In 2012 Paul Watson the Founder of Sea Shepherd was charged and found guilty of attacking Costa Rican fishing boats in Guatemala who were definning sharks. the case is an old arrest warrant from 2002 when Paul save 6,000 sharks from being definned by Costa Rican poachers in Guatemala. because of this Japan,Costa Rica,Canada,and the US have placed Watson on the Interpol Most Wanted List and removed him from Sea Shepard fallowing an injunction issued by the Institute for Cetacean Research in the 9th District Court a week before Operation Zero Tolerance which was the 2012-2013 campaign to stop ICR from killing endangered whales in waters off McMurdo Sound.
