The FDA approved the drug Zohydro over the objections of its own panel concerning the addictive nature of the drug. This drug will become a "super oxycodone" (5 to 10 times stronger) and simply add to the drug plague that grips our society. It is the only hydrocone-only drug ever approved. The FDA ignored the reality of Zohyrdo destroying millions of lives. They approved it without any abuse-limiting formula.
More than 40,000 Americans overdose in an average year and the FDA is complicit in approving drugs that will eventually end up on our streets. Opioids are fast becoming one of the biggest threats to our society and our very own government is responsible for allowing their approval and manufacture.
