Reverse the recent DOD & DVA policy change that now restricts service members from using military tuition assistance and the GI Bill simultaneously. In November I received word from my school after not being able to verify my GI BIll payment. The DOD did not send out an official notice to me until December 22nd. Last year at about the same time the DOD cut tuition assistance and thanks to a petition here we were able to reinstate our benefits. Every year the government attacks the service members pay and benefits. This needs to stop. This is no way to thank a volunteer generation of service members who have served in one of the longest conflicts in U.S. history. Those benefits are ours to use as long as they are used in furtherance of our education. Stop infringing upon them.
