Our country currently houses citizens that are determined to coerce society into adopting Christian standards of conduct. They ignore our own constitution which states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." Public schools are being held responsible for maintaining Christian students' beliefs yet privately-funded Christian schools are omnipresent. Birth control and abortions are legal in every state and should be available to all. LGBT citizens should not be judged according to religious doctrine; especially by legislation. Christian activists unlawfully expect their views be the standard for American life; instead every citizen needs to be held to equal, secularistic standards as intended by our founding fathers.
