The Supreme Court overturned a ruling and as a result is allowing corporations to be treated as people. This has given corporations the freedom to spend unlimited amounts of money on politicians and their campaigns. It considers the contributions of corporate funds to politicians as "speech". Corporations now have the ability to use money to influence politicians and the decisions they make. I don't understand how the Supreme Court justified this, but if a vote on this issue was presented I feel Americans would largely oppose this unfair corporate influence. Politicians need to work on behalf of their constituents not the multi million dollar companies that pay for their elections.
