reverse the SNAP decision to take away benefits to college students enrolled in school half time. It may cause poverty.

Created by P.J. on April 14, 2014

Well I'm a veteran and a student in a Barber college which does not accept student loans, and they currently do not accept G.I. benefits. I also live under a subsidized housing program. I'm just coming off of being homeless and thought that having SNAP would benefit me in that it would make a way so that I can have food. I'm being taken off of SNAP because I enrolled in school which doesn't seem right. It feels like I have to decide between school and food. I was told by my worker to find a job which has not been that easy in these last seven years. I do however hope I do not end back up homeless because I decided to better myself. Please reverse this issue which is a leading factor among freshmen at college, I feel we need that brain power to concentrate.
