reverse the U.S. Department of Defense policy regarding the recent change to the Army Tuition Assistance Program.

Created by A.C. on December 02, 2014

The U.S. Department of Defense recently released a policy to colleges and universities stating that soldiers in the United States Army will no longer be allowed to use their Montgomery GI-Bill and Army Tuition Assistance simultaneously. This new policy is a slap in the face to service members Army-wide and will cause unnecessary hardship. Service members of the U.S. Army have traditionally used both "entitlements" to make post-secondary education financially possible. Securing higher education is crucial for the success of our service members. Members of the Armed Forces have been tested both in dedication and conviction during this passed decade of conflict, why must the government attack the few entitlements they are given in return? Please reverse this policy!
