Created by B.H. on September 06, 2013

On August 30, 2013 the USDA announced that it was ending a ban on the importation of processed chicken products from China. Further, the USDA is not requiring that these imports carry a country-of-origin label.

These food products are dangerous and should not be made available to the American consumer. Currently the Chinese government cannot guarantee the safety of these food products. The ban should continue.

If the ban is to be lifted, labeling MUST be required. American consumers must be allowed make informed decisions about the ingredients they put into their bodies. We must know where our food came from.
