review and change the annual income of elected officials in Congress to the average income of the area they represent.

Created by R.F. on November 14, 2012

I feel we, the people, could be better represented with a greater regulation on the annual income of elected officials in Congress. I support the idea that the annual income of those in Congress should be contingent on the annual income of the area he/she represents. This would be based on the most previous Census, with the minimum annual income of $50,000 per year.
This new reform will not only help us with our deficit, but increase the want and determination to better represented areas. If a member of Congress wishes to raise his/ her annual income, he/ she must raise the average annual income of his/ her area.
