review and change the electoral college to split the votes by percentage according to the popular votes for that state.

Created by G.R. on November 12, 2012

In order to better serve the people, the electoral college must be changed in order to better recognize the will of the people. In no case, should any person be elected to any office, including the President of the United States, by receiving less votes by the population. The current process is flawed and should therefore be re-written so that each and every vote count. For example, if a given state has 20 electoral votes and a candidate receives 60% of the popular vote, that candidate shall only receive 12 of the possible 20 electoral votes. This method would be a more fair awarding of the votes for that state. Each states votes would obviously have to be customized for the particular states electoral allotment.
