Review and limit the amount of sex and violence that is seen on television.

Created by J.P. on March 23, 2015

Children watch an average of 7 hours a day of television. The cartoons that they watch are the most violent of all. The American Academy of Pediatrics states that by 18 years of age, the average child will have seen 100,00 acts committed on television. Also, children are becoming more violent than in the past. Children are becoming more violent because of the increase in violence in shows today. Along with this is the increase in sexual content on television. Children are seeing sexual content at a younger age and also increasing their sexual activity at a younger age. Television content needs to be limited today more than ever because children these days are becoming more violent, more sexually driven, and more prone to cause pain to others and them self.
