review and revise the "Tipped Employee Wage" that allows hard working citizens to be paid an hourly wage of $2.13

Created by R.M. on September 21, 2013

We the undersigned can not stand by and allow hard working people to be paid $2.13 per hour. This is a mere fraction of the federal minimum wage. It is not feasible to live on a wage that often times does not even cover an individuals taxes. To ensure that people can provide for themselves without assistance from outside sources, we must first ensure that every individual makes a livable hourly wage. It is a travesty that consumers are expected to pay not only their bill, but a considerable portion of someone's income as well. The biggest travesty? That someone's main source of income is left at the discretion of the consumer. "Tipped Employees" are already deprived of many privileges that are legal rights of most employees, please don't allow them to also be deprived of a livable wage.
