The language of the Second Amendment is vague and clearly was written for a different time. There are no "well-regulated militias" in this country other than our own armed forces. We don't see anything in the 2nd that permits individuals to keep and bear arms. Apparently, the Supreme Court ignores that part of the the 2nd Amendment as well. Gun violence and gun ownership are at all-time highs, and it's about time to review the Amendment and word it clearly, in such a way that gun ownership is recognized as a privilege, not a fundamental right. Nothing will completely solve the gun problem, but doing nothing is NOT the answer to it.
