review and update the laws and regulations affecting Cruise Ships in and around United States waters.

The current laws and regulations regarding Cruise Ships are not on par with the needs of today's world. Such laws are the following:
1) U.S. Flagged Vessels Must Meet the Following Guidelines:
a) They must be built in the United States of America
- There are not shipyards large enough to build modern cruise vessels.
b) They vessel must hire american crew members and follow minimum wage guidelines.
- Cruise Lines cannot afford to pay crew members at such rates.
2) Only U.S. Flag vessels may take voyages solely within the United States. All others must stop outside the U.S.
Loosening the restrictions will allow for more jobs and more revenue for the U.S.
