Christopher Dorner’s manifesto and subsequent manhunt have drawn the attention of the public back to a serious and persistent issue; corruption and misconduct in law enforcement. We ask that legislators and the current administration work toward enacting policies that will offer a long-term solution.
Allegations against the police cannot continue to be so readily dismissed; in a single manhunt, four innocent people had their lives put in jeopardy by law enforcement’s ineptitude and disregard for human life.
We request a full-scale, federal investigation into the above incidents, Dorner's allegations against the LAPD, the origin of the cabin fire and all other police activity throughout the case. Any human or civil rights violations must be prosecuted.
