Yellowstone's national treasure, America's last wild, migratory buffalo, have been under siege for decades by Montana's livestock interests and the government agencies that support and fund them. Under the highly controversial Interagency Bison Management Plan, wild buffalo have been persecuted in America's public parks and forests at taxpayers expense. A wild bison advocacy group has proposed a different alternative "Manage Wild Buffalo like Wild Elk in Montana", that uses the best available science.
