Review the Department of Veterans Affairs contract with United Parcel Service to deliver medications to our Country's Ve

Created by W.P. on November 14, 2014

United Parcel Service (UPS) has a policy where they can arbitrarily decide not to deliver medications from the VA directly to the veteran and force the veteran to go to a UPS location to pick up the medications. UPS supposedly reviews these cases yearly but without any input from the veteran. Under this policy it is possible for a veteran to not be able to receive medication delivery to their house for multiple years. The VA is paying UPS to deliver these packages to the Veterans not to deliver them to a UPS facility and forcing the veteran to go to that facility to pick up medications that are supposed to be delivered to the veterans address.

Please force UPS to review all of these cases and include the veteran on these reviews so that a driver cannot hold a grudge against the vet.
