Microtransactions are praying on peoples senses of reward. Companies are taking advantage of people's boredom, and sense of short term rewards. Take a game like Madden, you pay $60 to play it, then there is essentially a whole 1/3rd of the game that's locked away unless you pay towards it. You can play all the challenges and all the little mini games to earn coins, and maybe get players that can help your "Ultimate Team", or you can pay more money at the chance for a better player, essentially making it between a $60 and an infinite amount. I would like Congress to review this business practice, because I see it moving towards a dangerous trend of less content, unless you pay an indefinite amount. A game should be winnable and playable without these microtransactions.
