Review the Federal Poverty Level

Welfare System is broken & needs repair. Many are without basic needs & are denied help because they are employed. Having a job does not mean that your not poor, especially in single parent families. Too many people are being denied help & children are going without many basic necessities because hard working people are being over whelmed with bills. Single parents work for minimum wage full time and according to the government, is not in poverty. The average cost of an apartment is about $1000 a mth not including utilities. Never mind rising cost of gas, food, milk , clothing. Tiny difference between no work and full time work. So why work? Reform the system .Unfair for those who work to be denied help when millions are cheating the system or simply having more kids to stay on system
