Review government spending policies. Don't help people who don't need/deserve help. Drug tests for welfare applicants

Created by C.D. on April 28, 2013

To help alleviate the deficit, government should reevaluate its spending policies. There are citizens who abuse programs like food stamps. They get too much and illegally sell the rest. I'd like it to be easier to report this. Also drug testing and annual reviews. If we make it harder to get and keep, then only the people who need it will have it. There are countless other examples of how the government spends on unnecessary things. We shouldn't have raised taxes when there are so many ways to reduce expenditure.
