Throughout my life thus far, I have seen and experienced many injustices served to the people that many call "hackers".
Most of us are white hat hackers, which means we do not hack with any malicious intent, we hack to find weaknesses present in sites that often times contain national security information. Once this information is accessed, there is a fear of punishment, so the government is not contacted, and the security issue remains present.
I would like the Obama administration to review their policies pertaining to hacking, and eliminate grey areas to allow those without malicious intent to report their findings to the appropriate government agency, who would in turn be able to eliminate the vulnerability. If this is accomplished, there will be a significant increase in security.
