President Obama: As you may be aware, recently the state of Kansas has entered a bill that allowed business owners to refuse services, accommodations, advantages, facilities, goods, or privileges; provide counseling, adoption, foster care and other social services; or provide employment or employment benefits, related to, or related to the celebration of, any marriage, domestic partnership, civil union or similar arrangement.
Please repeal this action as it is discriminative and places the US Civil Rights movement back three decades. Please tell those in Kansas that supported this; that this nation will not tolerate this narrow minded behavior.
Repealing this will allow those affected to continue the pursuit of happiness and live in a nation that they feel safe and welcomed in.
