Attachment (Holding)Therapy is a fringe practice inflicted on adopted and foster children. It is condemned as abusive by the American Psychological Association's Division of Child Maltreatment. This practice has a long history of literally torturing children and destroying families. Arapahoe County DHS is one of several Colorado counties that colludes with Attachment Therapists and accepting without question their bizarre beliefs about child development. Arapahoe County has sent the two young sons of Michelle Morganegg to Attachment Therapists; Michelle has been denied her rights, even visitation, although she has never been charged with abuse or neglect. This petition asks the Department of Justice to review her case and reinstate visitation ASAP. Help stop this abusive practice!
