Review the standard operating procedures and structure of the house of representatives.

Created by N.S. on January 02, 2013

It has become painfully obvious that the house of representatives does not work as swiftly or as political party neutral as it should.

If the American people (not the parties) want something, they should be able to make it known to their state representative and then that representative should be able to request speaking time on the topic. The American people should be able to review transcripts or footage from a previous day or week in the house of representatives.

The position of the speaker of the house seems too powerful and the speaker should not be able to stop the majority of the house. The point of the speaker of the house seems to be to benefit whatever political party has the majority in the house of representatives. That should not be the case.

Make forums for the house.
