School systems believe that throwing more tax payer money at failing schools will bring up the graduation rate, when the evidence shows that taxpayer money rarely makes it into the classrooms that our future is learning in. Letting the money we pay for a student follow them to the school that they, or their guardians choose, to let them attend promotes competition, and competition promotes better quality. How could better quality in education be looked at as a bad idea?
