Recently, a pilot program requires that TRICARE For Life beneficiaries use TRICARE Pharmacy home delivery or a military pharmacy to fill prescriptions for select maintenance medications. This pilot program was a provision of the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act. Express Scripts has been filling prescriptions for these beneficiaries and has been negligent with how they dispense their medications. From beneficiaries who go weeks to months without medications, to medications being mailed to the wrong addresses, to Express Scripts running out of medication to dispense, Express Scripts needs to be held accountable for their negligence.
