We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Revise 22nd amendment that no spouse of an elected president may serve in office as president. Marriage=One Party

Created by J.B. on November 08, 2016

The 2016 election has brought an interesting issue to my attention, and one that is worth having a conversation about. This year we have a female candidate that may very well become President. That same candidate is also the spouse of Bill Clinton, who has previously held office as president. The 22nd amendment as it is written prevents Bill Clinton from being elected president again in his lifetime, but does not speak to the situation Hillary Clinton is in as a candidate for the presidency. Historically there has never been a presidential candidate in this situation. By definition marriage is the legal union of two people, and allowing the spouse of ANYONE who has previously held office to run for president ALLOWS a conflict of interest for the American People. #Marriage=OneParty
