Request a law revising Congressional Pay and Benefits. Members of Congress should only be paid the same as the lowest paid of their constituency. In that Congress believes its constituency can survive on current minimum wages, Congressional Members should be paid only at the minimum wage. Additionally, their retirement plan should be changed to a standard 401K plan where the employer, the U.S. Government, only needs to match up to 5% of their salary. This law should be made permanent.
