Congressional representatives should not receive a full paycheck for life unless they have served 20 years. They are public servants and should have their retirement pay and non-retirement pay match the public sector, being reduced to a percentage of their full pay. Persons whom only serve a few years should not receive a full pension. This will save the government millions by reducing fraud, waste and abuse. It also should be governed by how much time they actually spend in Washington. Pay should be commensurate with their experience, not just the fact they are elected.
